The battlefield rocket projector has proven a devastating weapon throughout both minor and major conflicts the world over - as much a psychological tool as a destructive one.

This listing includes both self-propelled and towed rocket-projecting platforms as well as those base forms (i.e. tracked tank chassis) that can be modified to become MLRS. Rocket-projectors are area-saturation weapons and not os much direct-target systems. In this way they provide a great psychological terror to those on the receiving end of a salvo - such weapons used to good effect by the Soviets against the Germans during the battles of the East Front during World War 2 (1939-1945).
