The Jordan Falcon in a light-class unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) currently in development and headed by the concerns of King Abdulla Design & Development Bureau and Jordan Aerospace Industries. The effort is a joint venture indigenous UAV program intended to broaden the tactical reach of military and security forces - in an effort to modernize forces and keep pace with Western powers. The Falcon is an unarmed system, charged mainly with reconnaissance, surveillance and target designation/tracking and is therefore "armed" with applicable mission equipment for the role (payload of up to 13lbs).

Outwardly, the Jordan Falcon is designed as a small-scale aircraft to include a fuselage, main wing span and empennage. The "cockpit" is underslung in a nacelle-type arrangement at center with the straight-edged wings overhead. The wings are clipped at their tips. The empennage consists of a twin-boom configuration with a connecting span of wing at the rear, a horizontal tailplane that appears as two inward-canted vertical tail surfaces joined at their tips. Propulsion is from an internal engine situated at the rear of the fuselage and powering a twin-bladed propeller assembly in a "pusher" configuration. The undercarriage consists of four fixed legs.

As with other systems of this type, the Falcon sports a reduced-noise 200cc 2-stroke internal combustion engine and satellite-based navigation. The system is primarily controlled by a ground operator and range is out to 450 kilometers though waypoint navigation can be autonomous if required. A datalink system relays video in real-time format back to a receiver. Operational endurance time for the UAV is reported to be roughly four hours. Top speed is 110 miles per hour.©MilitaryFactory.com
