The V3 Tactical is a modern pump-action shotgun currently offered by storied gunmaker Remington Arms for tactical home defense / home security use. The gun utilizes the proven "over-under" barrel-tubular magazine arrangement which sees a magazine set under the barrel and partially covered by the pump-action slide (the barrel sits over). At the rear of the receiver is a padded shoulder stock with integrated grip handle and these are found aft of the underslung trigger group. The bolt handle and extraction port are both set to the right side of the body with the feed / loading port found under the receiver, this component being flared for quick reloading of new shells. The handle, bolt release, and safety are all purposely oversized for ease-of-operation. Rounding out its features, the shotgun sports the Versaport gas system for enhanced reliability and minimized recoil.

The V3 Tactical is showcased solely in the ubiquitous 12-gauge chambering with a capacity of 6+1 shells (one being chambered). Overall length reaches 39.5 inches with the barrel measuring 18.5 inches long. Overall weight is a manageable 7.63lb. The stock is of synthetic construction and its finish of all-black. Available sights are the XS low-profile and vent-rib bead sight arrangements.

The V3 Tactical is currently marketed alongside other proven Remington pump-action shotguns including the Model 870 Home Defense and the Model 870 Tactical Magpul.
