The Savage Model 110 is a family of bolt-action hunting rifles produced by the storied Savage Arms company which bills it as the "oldest, continuously manufactured, bolt-action rifle in North America". The guns are largely conventional in their design approach and general arrangement. The original design debuted in 1956 with design attributed to Nicolas L. Bewer and was formally introduced in 1958.

The classic form (walnut stock) features a full-length wooden stock with protruding barrel assembly inlaid into the wooden framework. The bolt lever sits over the right side of the frame in the usual way while optics sets can be mounted over the receiver for precision / accurized firing at-range as needed. Sling loops are present near the front end of the forend and under the shoulder stock for use of a shoulder strap to facilitate transport of the gun on marches. The wooden stock encompasses the shoulder support, pistol grip handle, and forend as a complete unit.

Rifles in the series are offered with typical inherent features including safeties, scope mounts, and adjustable components to suit shooter needs in-the-field. Available supported chambers include 243 WIN, 223 REM, 22-250 REM, 338 Lapua, 6.5 Creedmoor among others and magazine counts vary based on the exact chambering in play.

Savage Arms makes the Model 110 series available in a myriad of finishes, calibers, and arrangements / configurations to undertake various outdoor duties: classic hunting models with wood, flat, or camouflaged finishes, tactically-oriented versions with extended magazines and over-frame accessories rail, and variants with short- or long-barrel assemblies. This allows the customer a deep access to a proven stable of hunting solutions from a single provider, whether it relates to hunting big game, varmints, predators, or simply shooting for sport.©MilitaryFactory.com
