The S-512 is projected with a (rather optimistic) range of 6,200 miles and its cabin will be configured to carry twenty passengers. The estimated speed of this supersonic performer is targeted at Mach 1.6. As of this writing (2017), the engines remain unnamed but the company is seeking powerplants in the 20,000lb thrust output range. Active high-speed testing is scheduled for 2019 with full-on testing planned for 2021. The company hopes to begin deliveries of its sleek product in 2023 or slightly beyond. An unmanned, scaled-down proof-of-concept demonstrator is in the works under the "SX-1.2" designation and is set to cover low-speed stability and control testing.

September 2017 - Spike Aerospace confirmed its plans to complete the SX-1.2 unmanned demonstrator with flight-testing scheduled to be begin by year's end or early in 2018.
