The GBL-130 is a lightly-armored, tracked mine-laying vehicle serving the People's Liberation Army (PLA) of China. The vehicle is based in the Type 89 (YW534) Armored Fighting Vehicle (AFV), detailed elsewhere on this site, which saw its design phase take place in the 1980s and serial production begin in 1990. The 16-ton vehicle went on to be produced in a myriad of variants and related offshoots - including the GBL-130 minelayer.

In the reimagined vehicle, the tank has a revised rear hull section which seats the mine-launching component. The component is made up of 122mm launch tubes housing ready-to-fire Anti-Tank (AT) and Anti-Personnel (AP) mines or a mix of the two. Utilizing these launchers, the vehicle can lay down a minefield in minutes while remaining at-range.

The rest of the vehicle's qualities remain largely faithful to the original Type 89 AFV.
