The PGM Hecate II is a French Army anti-material rifle designed to engage light armored vehicles. The Hecate II is designed and produced by PGM Industries of Poisy, France and was nearly the anti-material rifle of choice for the British Army as well (in its Hecate I form) before losing out to an Accuracy International product in the end. The Hecate II system fires the capable .50in Browning cartridge from a 7-round detachable box magazine.

The Hecate II is based on the Intervention model of the same product line. Several features common in other heavy caliber sniper rifles are found in this system as well. These features include a detachable wooden butt, muzzle break and integrated bipod (a monopod is also built into the stock). A silencer can be fitted to the barrel once the muzzle break is removed. The Hecate II not only serves with French Army forces but also with French police and other security groups across the country.
