TASKO 7ET3 is a Ukrainian Anti-Material Rifle (AMR) chambered around the large, destructive, armor-defeating 12.7mm machine gun cartridge. Such weapons are intended as direct battlefield counters to light-armored vehicles, individual vehicle components, and even enemy snipers. The rifle relies on a conventional arrangement with the five- or ten-round detachable box magazine fitted ahead of the pistol grip / trigger unit. Over the frame can be installed various day / night optics for accuracy-at-range at any light levels. The shoulder stock is solid, adjustable to an extent, to suit the firer's requirements. The heavy-duty barrel protrudes ahead with no forend / heat shield and is capped by an oversized, multi-slotted brake due to the recoil forces at play. Under the front end of the frame, a hinged, folding bipod is attached. The carrying handle is nearby and offers a grip for quick relocation of the entire system.

Externally, the rifle sports an overall length of 1,540mm and its barrel measures 900mm. Internally, the rifle fires through a semi-automatic action. Range is out to 2,000 meters.

The weapon is available in two 12.7mm chamberings: 12.7x108mm Soviet and 12.7x99 NATO (.50 BMG).

The TASKO 7ET3 is used by the armed forces of Ukraine, specifically its in-country anti-terrorist elements. The system is just one of several large-caliber sniper rifles in circulation with the nation's various defense forces.©MilitaryFactory.com
