The battlefield rocket projector has proven a devastating weapon throughout both minor and major conflicts the world over - as much a psychological tool as a destructive one.
There are a total of [ 60 ] Multiple Launch Rocket Systems (MLRS) entries in the Military Factory. Entries are listed below by initial year of service descending. Flag images indicative of country of origin and not necessarily the primary operator. This listing includes both self-propelled and towed rocket-projecting platforms as well as those base forms (i.e. tracked tank chassis) that can be modified to become MLRS. Rocket-projectors are area-saturation weapons and not os much direct-target systems. In this way they provide a great psychological terror to those on the receiving end of a salvo - such weapons used to good effect by the Soviets against the Germans during the battles of the East Front during World War 2 (1939-1945).
