December 2020 - A modernized IL-114-300 has successfully completed its first-flight. The action took place on December 16th, 2020 from Zhukovsky.
August 2021 - Flight trials of the IL-114 prototype have been suspended due to engine issues related to the fatal crash of the IL-112V prototype - which shares the same powerplant.
