New in 2015 to the Glock semi-automatic handgun lineup is the sub-compact Glock 43 for those requiring concealed carry. It features a new single-stack magazine design which promotes a thinner grip and slimmer overall profile. The basic magazine is restricted to six rounds (matching that of any competing revolver) while the textured grip fits well in most hands for increased control when firing. A large magazine catch is showcased to make magazine removal a quick affair. The G43 utilizes proven features seen in previous Glock handgun offerings.

Dimensions include an overall length of 6.26 with a height of 4.25 inches. Width is 1.02 inches. The barrel is 3.39 inches in length and features a right-handed, hexagonal rifling pattern with 9.84" length of twist. Iron sights are seated at the front and back of the slide. Loaded weight is 22.36 ounces and unloaded weight is 17.95 ounces. The trigger pull is listed at about 5.5 pounds with a 0.49" travel distance. The standard six-round magazine feeds 9x19mm pistol cartridges.
