The Glock 32 (also "G32" or "Model 32") is a further evolution of the Glock semi-automatic pistol line debuting in the early 1980s, primarily in issue to law enforcement groups and home/personal defense. The Glock 32 is billed as a compact model in the Glock handgun lineup, featuring the same squared slide and preceding Glock marks. The grip is integrated into the frame with the trigger group just ahead. The trigger consists of a stout curved appendage and the trigger loop is large enough for a gloved finger. The loop also features a depression at its frontal section for resting the finger of the support hand. Grooves and threading are present along the front side of the grip as they are on the backside. The slide is relatively featureless, moving rearwards with each successive shot. There is the standard Glock treatment of a front and rear iron sight. The barrel and spring, as well as the internals, are all shrouded by the slide. An ejection port is fitted over the right side of the slide, ejecting spent shell casings to the right of the shooter. The safety, magazine release and slide release are located along the left side of the frame.

The Glock 32 measures a running length of 7.36 inches (187mm) with a barrel of 4.01 inches (102mm) long. The barrel features hexagonal rifling with a right hand twist, the length of twist measuring 9.84 inches. Unloaded, the system weighs 610 grams and just 855 grams when loaded. Trigger pull is 5.5lbs with a travel distance of nearly half an inch.

The firearm is chambered for the .357 cartridge and feeds from a standard 13-round fitting. There is an optional 15- and 17-round magazine count available as well.
