Dark blue to yellow to large band of light blue then yellow to blue once more.
Visual Description (Medal):
Circular bronze medal dominated by eagle emblem with wings spread; 13 stars arcing over the eagle; behind the eagle are a pair of crossed contrails; each contrail leads to the outermost stars; three stars in the arc are larger than the rest; four lightning bolts emanating from the eagle's talons; wings of the eagle break circular medal perimeter as do two of the lower lightning bolts REVERSE: centered rectangle with "For Military" above it and "Merit" below it.
