Identification Colors: gold; blue (67118); red (67111); white (67101)

Visual Description (Ribbon):

1-3/8 inches in width; blue-white-blue-white-red-white-blue-white-blue color pattern from left to right.

Visual Description (Medal):

Bronze cross with superimposed rounded propeller; jagged edge 1-inch square forms backing of cross and features five rays to each quadrant; backfacing of medal is smooth and featureless.

Award Criteria:

Awarded to persons achieving extraordinary feats or heroism in aerial flight.
