Oerlikon ADATS Air Defense Anti-Tank System (ADATS) (1988)
The Canadian-produced ADATS is an effective anti-aircraft deterrent.
The ADATS system is manufactured in Zurich, Switzerland and Quebec, Canada. The ADATS in its current form is set to be replaced by the MMEV (Multi-Mission Effects Vehicles) now in development. The new MMEV will be set on the LAV-III chassis and feature long-range non-line-of-sight anti-tank missiles, 3D radar systems and infra-red vision equipment.
